Job description:

We are currently seeking an engineer to join our Cloud Platform and Enablement team. Our cloud team supports our hybrid multi-cloud environment. As a member of this team, your primary role will be involved in the day-to-day support and design of both our on-premises private cloud environment as well as our public cloud environments in Azure and GCP. You will also be heavily involved in development and implementation of cloud native infrastructure practices such as configuration management, infrastructure as code, immutability, continuous integration and continuous deployment.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA - Desired minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor s degree in computer science or other highly technical scientific discipline or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
4+ years IT experience
Demonstrate the ability to set goals and define strategy
Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, mentoring, and analytical skills
A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks
Experience with traditional infrastructure solutions such as hypervisors, SAN, NAS, Linux / Windows operating systems, etc.
Experience with at least one configuration management and infrastructure as code tool
Available for off-hour work on a scheduled basis

• To collect and collate data from various sources.
• To document and present findings from the analysis.
• To independently utilize data modelling practices to analyse findings by graphical, visual and analytical methods and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements..
• To understand customerorinternal requirement.
