Title: GIS-Technical Program Project Management
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages the SAP GTS migration project including but not limited to the following activities:
- Defines the project charter, develops governance structure, prepares detailed project plan, monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
- Conduct scoping, planning and design workshop engaging business & cross functional teams
- Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
- This role is most common in a matrix type organization
- Requires a technical background with SAP GTS implementation or migration experience to complete its overall project management responsibility
Ability to conduct meeting with executive leadership team during different phases of the project - Defines direction, adaption to change requirements while conquering obstacles, as well as managing business organization plans and knowing where to shift.
- 8-10 years of experience in managing SAP implementation/ upgrade projects including 2-3 full life cycle implementations
- Bachelor’s degree with Certification Project Management professional
Experience in adopting PMI or advanced project methodologies in SAP projects, preferable in GTS implementation - Experience in managing scoping, design, build, test and production cutover phases of projects
- Excellent communication skills to articulate & present periodic project status, highlighting the issues & risks and action plans
- Familiarity with Global Trade, Sales and Logistics business processes would be a plus
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
