Job description:

Strong debug and failure analysis skills from system to component level Perform root-cause analysis on product failures in the field and factory Create and execute test plans for hardware validation and component qualification Understand operation of communication interfaces such as PCIe, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, high-speed serdes, DDR4/5 Review PCB layout; read and modify design schematics Expertise with hardware lab equipment including: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, DMM, protocol analyzers Outstanding teamwork skills; ability to influence across organizations Outstanding communication skills; provide regular status updates to stakeholders, targeted communications to various audiences Outstanding record keeping skills, including use of issue tracking software such as JIRA Familiarity with signal integrity and power integrity measurements Familiarity with x86 CPUs and BIOS Experience using scripting languages, especially Python, for test automation 7+ years experience in hardware engineering
