Job description:
he Citrix Problem Management Team is a 3rd level, highly skilled group of technical analysts who have extensive knowledge of State Farm and their processes. They provide support for:
the Citrix Infrastructure for the State Farm account
the tooling and services required to provide virtual client solutions
the products and infrastructure necessary to provide virtual solutions
And they work with State Farm business areas to match business requirements with virtual technology solution options. The virtual solutions are closely integrated with other support teams within State Farm, and building / maintaining those relationships is critical.
They work closely with the 2nd level team to handle complex issues that require advanced troubleshooting skills and expertise. In addition to solving issues, they also provide root cause analysis for incidents in the environment and help identify, trend, and mitigate potential issues before they become a problem. The team is also responsible for the deployment of the Citrix Workspace App to State Farm-owned physical workstations ensuring they are properly configured, secured and maintained. They work closely with other teams to ensure they integrate smoothly into State Farm s Infrastructure environment.
- To create test transactions, run test to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications.
- To define a program development schedule to ensure on-time delivery.
- To design, develop and implement business application requirements.
- To ensure proper documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections.
- To liaison with client, project management team and other stakeholders.
- To provide technical expertise by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems or questions about programs.
