Our client is a leading government body, whose vision is to propel Saudi Arabia to be among the world's 15 largest economies by 2030 through a distinct financial system. HCLTech leveraged (AAP) to help them streamline their infrastructure operations workflow, enabling end-to-end automation.

The Challenge

Tackling the intricacies of a diverse user base within various internal organizations, our client encountered hurdles, including:

  • Migration of existing automation playbook developed in Broadcom ITPAM
  • Error-prone processes due to manual involvement
  • Manual-driven and time-consuming incident resolution and service request fulfillment
  • Lack of visibility throughout the IT infrastructure
  • Weeks-to-month lead period for managing provisioning requests for IT and non-IT users

  • Ansible Automation Platform acts as a centralized automation platform for incident ticket automation with auto-remediation and resolution, service request automation with the fulfillment of end-user tasks and change ticket automation for infrastructure and provisioning automation.

  • Successfully configured more than 120+ automation playbooks on AAP, contributing toward the annual target for Infrastructure Automation
  • Migrated 100+ automation use cases and achieved approximately 40% automation across Infra landscape
  • VM Provisioning Time slashed from 15 days to 2 hours, reflecting a 95% reduction
  • Middleware installation request turnaround shortened from 4 days to 1-1.5 hours
