Overview
The rise of the Green Finance market follows from a combination of a global environmental awareness (as reflected in some of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals), regulatory emphasis in many parts of the world, and an emerging investment preference.
Banks have a significant responsibility in channelizing resources into companies and initiatives that comprise or qualify for “Green” credentials. In this webinar, senior Treasury technology professionals from PRMIA, HCLTech and Finastra will discuss and debate the role that bank treasurers have to play, the challenges they need to overcome, and the best practices that they can adopt in ensuring a balanced and optimum focus on Green Finance. The expert panel will touch upon interesting themes such as:
- The regulatory and market context of Green Finance
- Green Finance, as it applies to banking
- What role can Treasurers play in supporting a bank’s green credentials
- Challenges and best practices in Green Finance
