Test Specialist with accessibility testing,software testing,python
Job Summary
The Test specialist will be responsible for overseeing accessibility testing. Will review deliverables and provide SME session / office hours for team and customers.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Perform accessibility testing on digital products and applications to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and guidelines.
2. Collaborate with developers and designers to implement accessibility features and fixes.
3. Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts for software testing.
4. Analyze test results, debug issues, and provide recommendations for improvements.
5. Stay updated on accessibility best practices and software testing methodologies.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in accessibility testing tools and techniques.
2. Solid experience in accessibility testing and strong knowledge of assistive technologies like jaws, nvda, talkback, voiceover etc. .
3. Solid understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
4. Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and report accessibility issues effectively.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross functional teams.
6. Detail oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
7. Familiarity with web accessibility standards such as wcag and section 508.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
