Job description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Architect (Vice President) for Platform Engineering to lead our engineering team in designing and implementing scalable, robust, and innovative platform solutions. This role will be pivotal in driving the technical strategy and architecture for our platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership in the design, development, and implementation of platform architecture. Innovation: Drive innovation in platform engineering, ensuring the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Collaboration: Work closely with product management, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to define and execute the platform roadmap. Scalability: Ensure the platform architecture supports scalability, performance, and reliability requirements. Mentorship: Mentor and develop engineering leaders and architects within the team. Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices. Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to communicate technical strategies and progress. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 20+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 8 years in a senior architectural role. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of platform engineering, cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices. Experience with large-scale distributed systems. Experience of implementing security best practices and compliance requirements. Experience of designing cloud native, ML and Gen AI solutions Familiarity with agile development methodologies. Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Leadership: Proven track record of leading and managing high-performing engineering teams. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Key Responsibilities
1. To provide solutions for IT optimization| Business Aligned IT| Enterprise architecture and roadmap creation| transformation| Business/Product acquisition & mergers and APO
2. To perform engagement level Delivery governance
3. To provide solution in business transformation by participating in RFP/RFI; Due Diligence; Pre Sales support and Oversee POC
4. To mentor technical and solution architects along with self knowledge up-gradation and learning
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
