Senior Product Support Administrator
Job Summary
The Senior Product Support Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the performance of lab equipment, networks, and computer systems. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime, directly impacting project delivery and overall lab efficiency. The Senior Administrator will leverage their technical skills to diagnose issues, provide solutions, and support the project requirements effectively.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Diagnose And Resolve Hardware, Software, Network, And Configuration Issues In Lab Equipment And Networks, Ensuring Uninterrupted Operations And Optimal Performance For Assigned Projects.
2. Implement And Enable New Subnet Access In The Lab Gateway In Accordance With Project Specifications, Facilitating Seamless Connectivity For Testing And Validation Activities.
3. Design And Prepare The Test Bed Topology Setup Based On Project Requirements, Ensuring Readiness For Testing Phases And Enhancing Experimental Accuracy.
4. Address And Resolve Day-To-Day Lab-Related Issues Promptly, Maintaining Minimal Downtime And Ensuring That Project Timelines Are Met Efficiently.
5. Manage And Maintain An Accurate Inventory Of Lab Equipment Across All Facilities, Ensuring Availability, Proper Functioning, And Adherence To Project Needs.Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Product Support Processes And Methodologies.
2. Proficiency In Diagnosing Technical Issues Across Hardware, Software, And Network Systems.
3. Familiarity With Subnet Configuration And Network Gateway Management.
4. Basic Knowledge Of Test Bed Topology Design And Setup Principles.
5. Good Organizational Skills For Inventory Management And Tracking Of Lab Equipment.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Itil Foundation, Comptia A+, Or Relevant Vendor-Specific Certifications (E.G., Cisco Certified Network Associate).
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
