Senior Developer with embedded linux,python
Job Summary
The Senior Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of embedded Linux and python systems. The primary objectives include designing efficient embedded Linux solutions, developing high-quality python applications, and ensuring the seamless integration of both technologies.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Coding, and testing embedded linux systems for various hardware platforms.
2. Developing and maintaining python applications to support embedded system functionalities.
3. Collaborating within team to ensure software compatibility and overall system efficiency.
4. Troubleshooting and debugging software issues in embedded linux environments.
5. Implementing security features and protocols to protect embedded systems and python applications.
6. Researching and staying updated on emerging technologies to enhance software development processes.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in embedded linux development, including kernel programming, device drivers, and board support packages.
2. Strong programming skills in python, with the ability to develop and optimize python applications for embedded systems.
3. Knowledge of embedded hardware architectures and systemonchip (soc) designs.
4. Experience with embedded development tools such as jtag debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
5. Understanding of networking protocols and communication interfaces commonly used in embedded systems.
6. Good problem-solving and analytical abilities to troubleshoot and resolve software issues efficiently.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in embedded systems or python programming are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
