Senior Test Lead
Job Summary
As a Senior Test Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products by developing comprehensive test plans based on project requirements and objectives. Collaborating closely with project stakeholders, you will define the testing scope, goals, and deliverables, driving the overall testing strategy to meet high standards of excellence and efficiency.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Participate In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Teams To Understand Design Specifications And Identify Performance Concerns, Ensuring The Appropriate Test Environments And Infrastructures Are Maintained And Updated.
2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices To Enhance The Efficiency And Effectiveness Of The Testing Process.
3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts Using Tools Like Selenium And Junit, Ensuring Consistency And Alignment With Quality Standards To Minimize Exposure To Defects.
4. Develop, Guide, And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Use Of Testing Frameworks Such As Testng And Cucumber, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Increasing Overall Team Productivity.Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Manual Testing Methodologies And Best Practices.
2. Proficient In Test Case Design, Execution, And Defect Management Using Tools Like Jira Or Bugzilla.
3. Familiarity With Automated Testing Tools And Frameworks Such As Selenium Or Testng.
4. Basic Knowledge Of Programming Languages Like C++ Or Embedded C To Understand Technical Specifications.
5. Excellent Analytical, Problem-Solving, And Communication Skills.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Istqb Certified Tester, Advanced Level Test Analyst.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
