Job description:

To support those requirements, WBG would like to extend its core team with two resources who would
work together with WBG ITSSG s Service Asset and Configuration Management team located in
Washington D.C (United States) and Chennai (India). WBG expects broad based support from selected
vendor s Center of Excellence in terms of appropriate processes and technical accelerators. Below are the
set of expected tasks to be performed:
1. Perform end-to-end Discovery and Service Mapping activities. This includes:
Execute the complete mapping of the following three main areas:
i. All Time Critical Enterprise Platform applications and the identification of all
applications that depend on the Enterprise Platform applications. This is
commonly referred to application-to-platform mapping. This includes working
sessions with Enterprise Platform teams to gather all the necessary information
needed for the mapping.
ii. All non-Time Critical and core applications that are hosted on premise and in the
Cloud; this includes working sessions with application and IT team to gather all
the necessary information needed for the mapping and create the required Cloud
tags.
Troubleshoot and resolve discovery and pattern related issues or errors related to Discovery
and Service Mapping
Review, modify and develop new and/or existing ServiceNow patterns as needed to ensure
critical WBG services such as authentication, identity management, custom applications
and services etc. are identified as part of the service maps for the in scope applications
Meet with application and IT teams to validate and obtain signoffs of completed application
services.
3. SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The desired resources should possess intermediate or expert level competency in ServiceNow ITOM
Discovery and Service Mapping module. In addition to this, the following should also be considered as part
of the profile:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow Service Mapping experience. Experience must
include the successful completion of all the Service Mapping related activities such as
debugging patterns and probes, troubleshooting logs to resolve errors, creating new patterns to
map required services, and modifying existing patterns to fit the organization s configuration
Completed the service mapping of at least 50 large and complex on-premise and Cloud hosted
applications and platforms such as Azure AD, Mulesoft, Apigee, SharePoint, etc.
Hands on experience with mapping application-to-application and application-to-platform
dependencies is a major plus
Intermediate knowledge and ability in Server Administration across OS platforms, including
the understanding of described domain structures, user permission levels, group policy objects
and the execution of sudo policies
Understanding protocols such as HTTP, TCP, SNMP, SOAP, and REST
Familiarity with the XML, and JSON/script language concepts
Knowledge of Web and Application Servers, Load Balancers, Databases, and Virtualization
(WebSphere, MQ, IIS, Apache, VMware)
Intermediate Windows and Unix administration skills
Familiarity with network concepts (routers, switches, firewalls, NAT, load balancing)
Familiarity with CyberArk as external ServiceNow credential store
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven ability to interact
professionally with a diverse group
High level of initiative with a proven ability to work independently
