Senior Design Lead LabVIEW
Job Summary
The Senior Design Lead oversees multiple design teams within the Architecture/Design work area, setting organizational design standards and driving innovation throughout the design process. This role is crucial for ensuring that design efforts significantly contribute to achieving business objectives, creating user-friendly and intuitive software and products that enhance the overall user experience.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Utilize Labview Expertise To Design And Implement Automated Test Systems, Ensuring That Software Products Meet User-Friendly And Intuitive Standards While Aligning With User Expectations.
2. Lead A Team Of Designers In Developing High-Quality Design Solutions, Providing Mentorship And Guidance To Ensure Alignment With Organizational Business Goals.
3. Present Innovative Design Concepts And Contribute To Shaping The Overall Design Vision And Strategy, Ensuring The Technical Feasibility Of Designs In Labview.
4. Conduct Research On Industry Trends And Emerging Technologies In Automated Test Systems, Integrating Relevant Advancements Into Design Practices To Drive Innovation And Excellence.Skill Requirements
1. Advanced Proficiency In Labview For Automated Test System Development.
2. Strong Understanding Of Design Principles And User Experience Best Practices.
3. Solid Leadership Skills With The Ability To Mentor And Guide Design Teams.
4. Excellent Presentation And Communication Skills For Conveying Design Vision And Strategy.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable: Certification In Labview Development Systems Or Any Relevant Design Certifications.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
