Job description:
Role: Decision Science Analyst (DSA)
Location: San Antonio TX
Job responsibilities:
- Apply statistical and mathematical techniques and provide decision support for business
- Gather, manipulate and perform exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to draw actionable insights and inferences and make recommendations
- Leverage business/ analytical knowledge to participate in discussions with cross functional teams
- Document assumptions, methodology, validation, and testing of various analysis performed
- Present results and recommendations to wider audiences
- Use visualization techniques to support your argument
- Degree in Economics, Mathematics. Finance, Statistics, or any other quantitative discipline with 8 years of experience in Quantitative analytics field
- Strong Expertise and Experience in SQL, and data analytical skills
- Expertise in Tableau and Python are preferred.
- Demonstrate competency in mathematical and statistical techniques and approaches used to drive fact-based decision-making.
- Working knowledge in gathering business requirements and convert them into analytical request and perform analysis
- Expertise in Documenting various analytics procedures, results, inferences and prepare business presentations
- Knowledge of industry best practices in data analytics and reporting
- Experience in developing reports and Dashboards
- Expertise in deriving insights from various analysis and present outcomes to different set of stakeholders.
- Working experience in financial domain in preferred
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
