SAP ABAP Technical Lead
Job Summary
The SAP ABAP Technical Lead plays a crucial role in leveraging SAP development technologies to drive project success. This position involves managing technology solutions, providing expert technical guidance, and ensuring best practices in coding and process compliance. The Technical Lead will act as a mentor for team members, fostering their technical growth and enhancing overall productivity, while also engaging in strategic discussions to mitigate risks and ensure project alignment with organizational goals.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Provide Technical Guidance And Solutions By Defining, Advocating, And Implementing Best Practices And Coding Standards In Sap Abap Development, Ensuring High-Quality Outputs From The Team.
2. Develop And Lead Initiatives To Enhance Team Members' Capabilities In Sap Development Technologies, Focusing On Productivity Improvements And Skill Development In Areas Such As Ooabap And Abap For S/4Hana.
3. Ensure Process Compliance In Assigned Modules By Participating Actively In Technical Discussions And Reviews As A Consultant For Feasibility Studies, Evaluating Technical Alternatives, Best Packages, Supporting Architecture Best Practices, And Identifying Technical Risks.
4. Prepare And Submit Status Reports To Minimize Project Exposure And Risks, While Managing The Closure Of Escalations Effectively.Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Sap Abap, With Proficiency In Ooabap And Abap For S/4Hana.
2. Solid Experience In Defining And Implementing Coding Standards And Best Practices Within Sap Development Environments.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Sap Ui/Ux Principles To Support User-Centered Design Within Projects.
4. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills With The Ability To Address Technical Challenges And Provide Strategic Solutions.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable: Sap Certified Development Associate Abap With Sap Netweaver Or Any Relevant Sap Certifications That Demonstrate Proficiency In Sap Technologies.
