Embedded OS Developer
Job Summary
The Embedded OS Developer plays a critical role in the development and delivery of high-quality code for embedded systems. This entry-level position focuses on adhering to established standards of quality and delivery timelines while contributing to the resolution of issues within existing projects. The role supports the organization s objectives by ensuring the successful implementation of client requirements through effective coding practices.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Develop And Deliver Code For Embedded Operating Systems By Adhering To Established Coding Standards And Quality Assurance Practices, Ensuring Compliance With Project Timelines And Service Level Agreements.
2. Maintain And Troubleshoot Existing Embedded Os Applications By Diagnosing And Resolving Issues, Ensuring Continuous Functionality And Performance Optimization.
3. Analyze Client Requirements And Develop Code To Implement New Features, Ensuring Alignment With The Overall Project Objectives And User Expectations.
4. Document Project Work And Code Changes Comprehensively To Maintain Clarity And Facilitate Knowledge Sharing Within The Development Team.Skill Requirements
1. Basic Understanding Of Embedded Operating Systems And Their Architecture.
2. Familiarity With Programming In C And C++ For Embedded Systems.
3. Fundamental Knowledge Of Debugging Tools And Techniques For Troubleshooting Embedded Applications.
4. Basic Proficiency In Version Control Systems, Such As Git.Certification
1. Optional Certifications In Embedded Systems Or Related Fields Are Valuable.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
