Kotlin Senior Technical lead with Java
Job Summary
The Senior Technical Lead in Kotlin and java will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in developing and implementing software solutions using Kotlin and Java. They will play a key role in architecting, designing, and delivering high-quality code solutions that meet the business requirements.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and mentor a team of developers in kotlin and java to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions using kotlin and java.
3. Architect and design scalable and reliable backend systems using kotlin and java.
4. Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and ensure best practices are followed in kotlin and java development.
5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in kotlin and java applications.
6. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in kotlin and java development to drive innovation and efficiency.
Skill Requirements
1. Strong proficiency in kotlin and java programming languages.
2. Handson experience in designing and developing backend systems using kotlin and java.
3. Familiarity with frameworks such as spring boot, hibernate, and micronaut in kotlin and java development.
4. Experience with restful web services and api development using kotlin and java.
5. Good understanding of databases like mysql, postgresql, or mongodb in the context of kotlin and java applications.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
7. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively lead a team of developers in kotlin and java projects.
Certifications: Relevant certifications in Kotlin, Java, or software engineering are a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
