Job description:
Project Manager with Scrum Master
Job Summary
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing projects following Agile methodologies. This role involves overseeing project deliverables, coordinating with cross functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of projects. The Project Manager will also act as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring the team follows Agile practices and principles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage project teams in the successful execution of projects using agile methodologies.
Ensuring that development teams follow scrum framework values and agile practices.
Mentoring and motivating teams to improve processes.
Facilitating meetings and decision-making processes
Eliminating team impediments
Managing timelines
Resolving problems
Coaching team members on Agile methodologies
Helping create self-organizing teams that are flexible and fully productive during sprints.
Bridging the needs of product management, sales, marketing, operations, and product development
Keeping obstacles and distractions out of the team's path
Acting as the interface between the Scrum team and other people or teams
Coaching the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality
Helping the Development Team to create high value products.
A Scrum master’s requirements include:
- A Bachelor's degree:
- 4 years of product or project development experience
- 3 years of project development experience on an Agile Team
- An equivalent combination of education and work experience
Skill Requirements
Certifications: Agile or Scrum Master certification is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
