SDET Senior Technical Lead with API/Webservices Testing, selenium
Job Summary
The Senior Test Lead in API/Webservices Testing, SDET, Selenium will be responsible for leading and overseeing the technical aspects of API and webservices testing projects. This role involves ensuring the quality and efficiency of testing processes, as well as providing technical guidance to the testing team.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage api and webservices testing projects from initiation to completion
2. Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and procedures for api testing
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify testing requirements and resolve technical issues
4. Conduct automated testing using selenium for web applications
5. Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements
6. Mentor and guide team members on technical best practices in testing
7. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in api and webservices testing methodologies
8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders on project status and technical aspects of testing
Skill Requirements
1. Strong experience in api testing and webservices testing
2. Proficiency in using automation tools like selenium for web application testing
3. In-depth knowledge of sdet (software development engineer in test) methodologies
4. Familiarity with programming languages such as java, python, or ruby
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing processes
7. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
8. Good communication and leadership skills
Certifications: ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer Certification is a plus
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
