Senior Test Specialist with accessibility testing,software testing,python
Job Summary
The Senior Test Specialist will be responsible for conducting accessibility testing, python scripting, and software testing to ensure high-quality and user-friendly software products. The primary objectives include identifying and resolving accessibility issues, automating test cases using python scripts, and ensuring the overall quality of the software through comprehensive testing strategies.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Perform accessibility testing on software products to ensure compliance with accessibility standards and regulations.
2. Review accessibility deliverables against customer requirement . enhance testing efficiency,
3. Collaborate with developers and designers to implement accessibility features and fixes.
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
5. Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports to document testing activities and outcomes.
6. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in accessibility testing, python scripting, and software testing.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in accessibility testing methodologies and tools.
2. Strong experience in accessibility testing and strong knowledge of assistive technologies like jaws, nvda, talkback, voiceover etc. .
3. In-depth knowledge of software testing principles and techniques.
4. Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Good communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Certifications: ISTQB Certified Tester or any relevant software testing certification is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
