Senior Designer - Windchill
Job Summary
The Senior Designer plays a crucial role in the design process, ensuring that all designs are of high quality and aligned with the overall vision of the project and customer requirements. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, development of prototypes, and mentoring junior designers, all aimed at achieving excellence in design execution.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate With Stakeholders To Gather And Refine Design Requirements Using Windchill, Ensuring That All Designs Align With Project Objectives And Customer Expectations.
2. Develop Prototypes And Proof-Of-Concept Implementations Using Windchill To Validate Design Decisions, Facilitating Quick Iterations And Feedback Cycles.
3. Mentor Junior Designers By Sharing Knowledge And Providing Training Sessions On Windchill Best Practices And Design Methodologies.
4. Work With Cross-Functional Teams And Other Stakeholders To Ensure That Software Design Aligns With Overall Project Goals And Integrates Seamlessly With Existing Systems.
5. Collaborate With Quality Assurance Teams To Establish Quality Benchmarks And Maintain High Standards Of Design Integrity And Performance Throughout The Development Lifecycle.Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of Windchill For Product Lifecycle Management And Design Documentation.
2. Familiarity With Design Principles And Methodologies Relevant To Plm.
3. Experience In Prototype Development And Proof-Of-Concept Methodologies.
4. Good Knowledge Of Change Management Processes Within A Design Context.
5. Basic Knowledge Of Design Verification And Validation Processes.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable: Certified Windchill Professional (Cwp).
2. Optional But Valuable: Plm Certification Or Relevant Design Certifications.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
