Senior Developer - Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
Job Summary
As a Senior Developer specializing in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering high-quality code aligned with project timelines and cost constraints. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing existing features, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that development meets both client expectations and technical standards.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain And Enhance Existing Dfm Features By Troubleshooting Bugs And Addressing Ad-Hoc Requests, Ensuring Alignment With Business Requirements And Technical Specifications.
2. Provide Client Support By Gathering And Analyzing Data, Resolving Support Tickets, And Monitoring Client Needs To Ensure Timely Delivery Of Tasks While Adhering To Quality Standards.
3. Contribute To Documentation Creation For Cmmi Compliance And Client Requirements, Ensuring All Enhancements Are Well-Documented And Traceable.
4. Offer Technical Guidance To Team Members, Fostering Knowledge Sharing And Best Practices In Dfm Principles And Methodologies.
5. Collaborate With Customers And Internal Teams To Gather Detailed Requirements For Development, Ensuring That All Specifications Are Accurately Captured And Addressed.Skill Requirements
1. Solid Understanding Of Design For Manufacturability (Dfm) Principles And Their Application In Software Development.
2. Familiarity With Plm Tools And Methodologies Relevant To Component Engineering.
3. Experience With Coding Languages And Tools Relevant To Dfm-Related Development Projects.
4. Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With A Focus On Client Needs And Requirements.
5. Good Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Clients And Team Members.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable: Certified Professional In Product Management (Cppm) Or Any Relevant Certification Related To Design For Manufacturability And Plm.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
