Senior Technical Specialist - Component Cost Estimation
Job Summary
The Senior Technical Specialist in Component Cost Estimation is integral to the conceptualization, design, and delivery of product and sustenance solutions. This role demands advanced technical expertise and strategic contributions to elevate project outcomes, ensuring alignment with industry-leading practices. By leveraging a deep understanding of cost estimation tools and methodologies, the specialist will drive project success and foster team growth.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Architect And Design Comprehensive Cost Estimation Solutions For Product Delivery And Sustenance Using Tools Such As Tcpcm, Seer, And Costimator, Ensuring Alignment With Project Scope And Client Requirements.
2. Serve As A Subject Matter Expert In Component Cost Estimation, Providing Technical Guidance And Innovative Strategies To Enhance Project Deliverables.
3. Ensure Continuous Knowledge Enhancement By Evaluating And Integrating New Cost Estimation Technologies And Methodologies To Maintain High-Quality Standards In Project Execution.
4. Cultivate A Skilled Workforce By Conducting Interviews, Leading Training Sessions, And Offering Mentorship In Cost Estimation Practices To Ensure A Robust Talent Pool.
5. Gather Detailed Specifications And Deliver Tailored Cost Estimation Solutions Aligned With The client's Operational Domain And Technology Landscape.
6. Drive Competency Development By Envisioning And Articulating Propositions, Including Creating Collaterals, Whitepapers, And Conducting Market Trend Analysis In Cost Estimation Practices.
7. Recommend And Implement Client Value Creation Initiatives Through The Adoption Of Industry Best Practices In Component Cost Estimation, Fostering A Culture Of Continuous Improvement.Skill Requirements
1. Expert Understanding Of Component Cost Estimation Methodologies And Tools, Including Apriori, Tcpcm, Seer, And Costimator.
2. Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills In Cost Modeling And Estimation.
3. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Stakeholders.
4. Proven Ability To Mentor And Train Junior Professionals In Cost Estimation Practices.

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
