Senior Test Lead - System Testing (Storage)
Job Summary
As a Senior Test Lead specializing in System Testing for Storage, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our storage solutions. You will develop comprehensive test plans in alignment with project requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to define testing scope and objectives. Your leadership will drive the testing strategy and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Engage In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members To Comprehend Functional And Design Specifications, Identify Performance Concerns, And Ensure That Test Environments And Infrastructure For Storage Systems Are Properly Maintained And Updated.
2. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices To Enhance Efficiency And Effectiveness In Storage System Testing.
3. Oversee The Development And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts For Storage Systems, Ensuring They Align With Quality Standards And Minimize Exposure To Defects.
4. Mentor And Guide Qa Engineers In Utilizing The Testing Framework Effectively For Storage Solutions, Enhancing Their Technical Skills And Improving Overall Productivity.Skill Requirements
1. Solid Understanding Of System Testing Principles And Methodologies, Particularly In Storage Environments.
2. Proficiency In Using Testing Tools And Frameworks Relevant To System Testing For Storage Solutions.
3. In-Depth Knowledge Of Backup And Recovery Processes And Methodologies.
4. Strong Familiarity With Operating Systems Such As Linux And Windows In Relation To Storage System Testing.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Istqb Advanced Test Manager, Certified Agile Tester (Cat), Or Relevant Certifications In Storage Technology And Testing Practices.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
