Senior Telecom Network Tester
Job Summary
The Senior Telecom Network Tester plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of telecom network applications. This position involves executing testing strategies that align with client requirements and quality standards, contributing to the overall success of network deployments. The Senior Tester will leverage their expertise in end-to-end telecom network testing to enhance product quality and deliverables.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Create And Review Test Cases Based On Functional Specifications And Software Requirement Specifications, Ensuring Comprehensive Coverage Of Network Functionalities.
2. Execute Functionality Tests According To The Test Plan And Specified Test Cases, Validating The Performance And Reliability Of Telecom Network Applications.
3. Contribute To The Development Of Test Plans By Providing Insights And Feedback Based On Assigned Responsibilities, Ensuring Alignment With Project Goals.
4. Track Test Coverage, Defect Density, And Other Relevant Metrics To Evaluate Product Quality, And Publish Detailed Progress Reports For Stakeholders.
5. Coordinate With Team Members For Discussions On Testing Progress And Interact With Clients To Provide Updates Regarding Testing Phases And Outcomes.Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of End-To-End Telecom Network Testing Principles And Methodologies.
2. Experience In Developing, Executing, And Reviewing Test Cases And Test Plans.
3. Proficiency In Analyzing Defect Density And Test Coverage Metrics.
4. Familiarity With Telecom Protocols And Standards, Ensuring Effective Testing Strategies Are Implemented.Certification
1. Istqb Certification (Optional But Valuable).
2. Telecom Testing Certification (Optional But Valuable).
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
