Spring Boot Senior Developer
Job Summary
The Senior Developer (Architecture Java/J2EE,rest,Spring Boot) at HCL will play a crucial role in developing, and implementing complex Java/J2EE applications using RESTful services and Spring Boot framework. The primary objective is to contribute to high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, and test java/j2ee applications in adherence to architectural guidelines and best practices.
2. Collaborate within team to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions, and implement features.
3. Build restful apis and integrate with third-party systems to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.
4. Troubleshoot and debug issues, optimize application performance, and ensure high levels of security.
5. Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and actively participate in agile development processes.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in java/j2ee technologies, including java, jsp, servlets, and jpa.
2. Experience in developing and consuming restful web services.
3. Handson experience in spring boot framework for microservices development.
4. Knowledge of database systems like mysql, oracle, or mongodb.
5. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as aws or azure for deployment and scalability.
6. Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
