Senior Design Lead with Design for Manuf & Assembly (DFMA),CAD Design Skills,Creo
Job Summary
The Senior Design Lead at HCL will be responsible for overseeing the Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) processes while demonstrating proficiency in CAD Design Skills, particularly using Creo software. The role will involve leading design initiatives, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the efficient assembly of products.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and coordinate dfma activities to enhance product manufacturability and assembly efficiency.
2. Utilize cad design skills to create detailed designs and specifications for manufacturing.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify design improvements and cost saving opportunities.
4. Implement best practices in dfma to streamline production processes and reduce timetomarket.
5. Conduct design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in design for manufacturing & assembly (dfma) principles and methodologies.
2. Strong cad design skills with expertise in using creo software.
3. Ability to interpret and create detailed engineering drawings and documentation.
4. Solid understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative design solutions.
Certification in CAD design software like Creo is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
