Senior Technical Specialist with CAD Design Skills,Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T),Solidworks
Job Summary
The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for leveraging CAD Design Skills, Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T), and SolidWorks expertise to support complex technical projects. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing technical solutions related to CAD and SolidWorks.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Utilize cad design skills to create detailed drawings and models for new products or components.
2. Apply geometric dimension & tolerancing (gd&t) principles to ensure accuracy and quality in technical designs.
3. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical expertise.
4. Troubleshoot technical issues related to cad designs and solidworks models.
5. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of technical designs to optimize performance and efficiency.
6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in cad design and solidworks technologies.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in cad design skills, including 2d and 3d modeling techniques.
2. Strong understanding and application of geometric dimension & tolerancing (gd&t) principles.
3. Expertise in using solidworks for designing and developing technical solutions.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings and designs.
5. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
6. Problem-solving abilities to address technical issues and optimize design processes.
Certifications: Solidworks Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
