Senior Test Lead - L2/L3 Protocol Testing
Job Summary
As a Senior Test Lead specializing in L2/L3 Protocol Testing, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of networking solutions. You will collaborate closely with project stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans that align with project objectives, define testing scope, and deliver exceptional results. Your expertise in testing methodologies and leadership will drive improvements and foster a culture of excellence within the testing team.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate With Clients And Technical Teams To Understand Functional And Design Specifications, Address Performance Concerns, And Ensure That Appropriate Test Environments And Infrastructures For L2/L3 Protocol Testing Are Established And Maintained.
2. Identify And Implement Opportunities For Process Improvements In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Applying Best Practices In L2/L3 Protocol Testing To Enhance Efficiency And Effectiveness.
3. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts Using Networking Testing Tools, Ensuring Alignment With Quality Standards To Minimize Risks And Ensure Comprehensive Test Coverage.
4. Develop And Mentor Qa Engineers In The Application Of The Testing Framework And Methodologies Specific To L2/L3 Protocols, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities And Improving Overall Team Productivity.Skill Requirements
1. Strong Understanding Of L2/L3 Protocols And Networking Concepts
2. Proficiency In Automated Testing Frameworks And Tools Relevant To Networking
3. Experience In Developing Test Plans And Strategies For Complex Networking Projects
4. Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills To Work Effectively With Cross-Functional TeamsCertification
1. Certifications Such As Istqb Advanced Test Manager Or Related Networking Certifications Are Optional But Valuable.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
