Senior Test Lead - Silicon Platform Validation
Job Summary
The Senior Test Lead plays a vital role in ensuring the integrity and performance of silicon platforms through comprehensive validation processes. By collaborating closely with project stakeholders, this position develops robust test plans that align with project objectives, ensuring high-quality deliverables. The Senior Test Lead will leverage their expertise in testing methodologies and automation to drive continuous improvement and mentor team members, thereby contributing significantly to the organization's success.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Collaborate With Project Stakeholders To Develop Comprehensive Test Plans That Define The Scope, Goals, And Deliverables, Ensuring Alignment With Functional And Design Specifications In Silicon Platform Validation.
2. Engage In Functional And Technical Discussions To Identify Performance Concerns Or Inconsistencies, Ensuring That Appropriate Test Environments And Infrastructures Are Established And Maintained.
3. Identify Opportunities For Process Improvement In Testing Methodologies And Tools, Implementing Best Practices In Silicon Validation Testing To Enhance Efficiency And Effectiveness.
4. Oversee The Creation And Execution Of Automated Test Scripts Using Python, Ensuring They Align With Quality Standards And Minimizing Potential Exposure To Defects.
5. Guide And Mentor Quality Assurance Engineers In The Use Of Testing Frameworks, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities In Silicon Platform Validation And Increasing Overall Team Productivity.Skill Requirements
1. Advanced Proficiency In Silicon Platform Validation Techniques And Methodologies.
2. Strong Understanding Of Python For Automation In Testing Processes.
3. Excellent Knowledge Of Testing Frameworks And Best Practices In Software Testing.
4. Solid Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Address Performance Issues.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Software Tester (Cste), Istqb Advanced Level Test Manager.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
