Technical Architect - Windchill
Job Summary
The Technical Architect specializing in Windchill plays a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and delivering solutions that meet the defined scope and standards. This position is essential for guiding the architectural direction of product development and sustenance with a focus on enhancing operational efficiencies and ensuring quality compliance within the organization.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Architect, Design, And Develop Comprehensive Windchill Solutions For Product And Sustenance Delivery, Ensuring Alignment With Industry Standards And Client Specifications.
2. Train And Mentor Team Members In Windchill Best Practices And Methodologies, Fostering A Culture Of Continuous Learning And Mitigating Delivery Risks Through Skill Enhancement.
3. Stay Abreast Of Emerging Technologies In Plm And Windchill, Implementing Knowledge Upgrades To Ensure That Solutions Are Innovative, Current, And Meet Stringent Quality Standards.
4. Gather And Analyze Specifications From Stakeholders To Deliver Tailored Solutions In Windchill, Leveraging A Deep Understanding Of Both The Technology And The Relevant Domain.Skill Requirements
1. Expert Knowledge Of Windchill Architecture And Implementation.
2. Strong Understanding Of Product Lifecycle Management (Plm) Principles.
3. Proficiency In Change Management Processes And Design Verification & Validation Methodologies.
4. Excellent Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills With The Ability To Think Strategically.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications Include Windchill Certified Professional And Plm Professional Certification.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
