Technical Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Technical Lead with expertise in automation, mobile and web application development, and cloud deployment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure code quality, and stay updated with the latest industry trends. Key responsibilities include:

Technical Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts to streamline testing and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and timelines.
• Conduct code reviews, identify technical debt, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development for iOS, Android, and Java.
• Develop and maintain web applications, including online media streaming platforms.
• Mentor team members, provide technical guidance, and support their professional growth.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to development and deployment.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of computer networks and configurations.
• Develop software using Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages with proven expertise.
• Work with Unix/Linux systems and distributed systems architectures.
• Design and optimize relational databases, NoSQL solutions, and in-memory datastores (e.g., Redis).
• Understand Android application development and tools such as ADB and Android Studio.
• Experience with cloud deployment and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) on platforms like GCP, AWS, or Azure is a plus.
• Fluency in both English and Hungarian, written and spoken.

Testing & Lab Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain test cases required for client certification processes.
• Execute tests on upcoming device releases for client certification.
• Log defects and issues identified during testing.
• Reproduce bugs reported on released devices to assist in troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and maintain devices in the lab environment.
• Troubleshoot lab devices as needed or requested by clients.
• Provide weekly progress updates to clients in the required format.
• Coordinate with workstreams, lab staff across all locations, and cross-functional teams to meet lab requirements.

Certifications: Relevant certifications in iOS, android, or java development would be a plus.
