Job description:

The Depot Technician is responsible for identifying and resolving hardware and software issues that could not be resolved over the telephone. Additionally, The Depot Technician is also responsible for the physical repair, maintenance, and tracking of client equipment, operating within client Service Level Agreements and OEM procedures, identifying, analyzing, and reporting quality related issues in the hardware services department.

  • To configure equipment for new hires.
  • To ensure repair procedures, training and tracking are in compliance organization/client policies and procedures.
  • To escalate issues to Hardware Manager/Supervisor/Quality Assurance/Control staff.
  • To identify and resolve hardware/software related issues, repair/replace damaged equipments.
  • To preform inventory and asset management duties.
  • To prepare and maintain records of detailed repair orders for damaged or malfunctioning equipment for the warranty repair team.
