Test Lead - BIOS Validation
Job Summary
As a Test Lead specializing in BIOS Validation, you will be pivotal in ensuring that our testing efforts align with client and internal quality standards. This role involves planning, deploying, and managing comprehensive testing strategies, while leading a team to address functional and technical specifications. Your expertise will directly influence project success and product quality.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Engage In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Team Members To Understand Bios Design Specifications, Identify Performance Concerns, And Develop Automated Test Scripts Using Python And Selenium, Ensuring A Robust Test Case Suite Is Maintained And That The Appropriate Test Environments Are Current.
2. Develop And Enhance Automated Testing Solutions As New Bios Features And Enhancements Are Introduced, Creating Detailed Work Plans And Monitoring Progress For Timely Delivery In Accordance With Quality Standards.
3. Design And Implement A Reusable And Scalable Test Automation Framework Using Tools Like Robot Framework And Jenkins, Develop Comprehensive Test Strategies And Plans, Maintain Test Data, And Provide Status Reports To Mitigate Risks And Address Escalations Effectively.
4. Mentor And Guide Qa Engineers In Utilizing The Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Capabilities In Bios Validation, And Improving Overall Team Productivity.Skill Requirements
1. In-Depth Understanding Of Bios Validation Processes And Methodologies.
2. Strong Proficiency In Automated Test Script Development Using Python And Selenium.
3. Solid Experience With Test Automation Frameworks Such As Robot Framework And Jenkins.
4. Familiarity With Creating And Maintaining Test Strategies And Plans.
5. Excellent Communication And Mentoring Skills.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications: Certified Software Tester (Cste), Istqb Advanced Test Manager.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
