Job description:
System Engineer for Manual Testing
- Key Responsibilities
1. Engage In Functional And Technical Discussions With Clients And Teams To Comprehend Functional And Design Specifications, Identify Performance Concerns, And Ensure That Appropriate Test Environments And Infrastructures Are Maintained And Up To Date While Preparing Manual Test Cases And Facilitating Execution.
2. Develop And Continuously Enhance Manual Testing Strategies And Processes As New System Features And Enhancements Are Introduced, While Creating Work Plans And Monitoring Progress To Ensure On-Time Delivery In Accordance With Established Quality Standards.
3. Create Reusable And Scalable Test Documentation, Develop Comprehensive Test Plans, Maintain Test Data, And Submit Status Reports To Identify And Mitigate Risks Throughout The Project Lifecycle.
4. Mentor And Guide Qa Engineers In The Application Of The Testing Framework, Enhancing Their Technical Skills And Increasing Overall Team Productivity.Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency In Manual Testing Methodologies And Tools.
2. Solid Understanding Of Embedded C And C++ Concepts.
3. Familiarity With Test Case Design And Test Management Tools.
4. Basic Knowledge Of Software Development Life Cycle (Sdlc) And Quality Assurance Processes.
5. Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills.
6. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills.Certification
1. Optional But Valuable Certifications In Istqb (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Or Equivalent In Software Testing.
2. Agile Or Scrum Certification Is A Plus.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
