Job description:
QA ETL Testing Lead
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Functional, SIT, and E2E testing of UI front-end applications, including regression suite design and execution.
- Conduct ETL testing using tools like iCEDQ, covering:
- ETL transformation validation
- Source data and business rule validation
- Referential integrity and data reconciliation
- BI report validation and UAT vs QA comparisons
- Execute API testing using RestAssured, SOAPUI, and similar tools.
- Develop and run custom SQL scripts for RDBMS (MS SQL, Sybase) testing:
- Debug stored procedures
- Validate complex business logic using advanced SQL
- (Optional) Test ETL pipelines in Informatica, including transformation logic and data quality checks.
- (Optional) Validate Power BI reports against source queries and BRD documents, including GUI and security checks.
Mandatory Required Experience:
- Testing the UI front end, identify key test cases and scenarios for regression suite - Functional, SIT, E2E
- Testing through record & play references - Functional, SIT, E2E
- API Testing using RestAssured, SOAPUI and similar tools.
- Custom Script development and testing - RDBMS ( MS SQL,Sybase)
- Need to have the below concepts-
a) It is essential to understand the logic within stored procedures and possess the ability to debug them effectively to identify the root cause of issues
b)Should have a strong grasp of advanced SQL concepts and be capable of writing customizable scripts to validate complex business logic effectively..
Good to have Experience:
- Leveraging iCEDQ and similar tools.
- Need to have the below concepts-

b)Source Data Validation
c)Business Validation Rule
d)Referential Integrity Check
e)Data Migration Reconciliation

- Test the ETL Jobs and Pipelines - Informatica
- Need to have the below concepts-
a)Transformation Logic Validation (Aggregations, Joins & Filters)
b)Data Quality Checks
- Testing Power BI reports
a)data validation(Against the Source queries/SP)
b)GUI
c)Validating the reports against the BRD Documents.(Font Size,Security -Masking,Labeling e.t.c)
Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
