HCL Technologies and Lojas Renner Sign Strategic Partnership to Support Aggressive Growth Plans in Brazilian Retail Market

With the provision of Oracle Application Support Services, HCL Technologies is involved in automation, improvement and monitoring of Renner's IT environment

Brazil, South America, 10th December, 2010 – HCL Technologies, a global leader in IT Services, today announced a multi-year partnership with Lojas Renner - the second largest fashion retailer in Brazil. Under this partnership, HCL will be responsible for supporting Oracle systems, deployed in more than 130 stores of Lojas Renner across Brazil.

HCL has been working with Lojas Renner for more than a year and has been engaged in strategic consulting programs aimed at optimizing the performance of Oracle Retail and E-business environments at Renner. HCL has also partnered with Lojas Renner on developing a significant number of applications that support store operations and reporting for Lojas Renner.

HCL will be delivering these services from its Global delivery center in Sao Leopoldo which is conveniently located close to Renner’s headquarters in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul. The Sao Leopoldo Global Delivery Center was established by HCL in 2009 and currently services a good mix of local and global customers.
