Merck
In an agreement made last year, HCL supports Merck's key IT initiatives, including Merck's Vaccines and Infectious Diseases (MVID) division. With assistance from HCL, MVID moved to a consultative selling model in order to support a selling pattern from individual vaccines to a portfolio of products. This approach helped develop key customer accounts into valuable partnerships by driving efficiencies in inventory control and providing greater visibility to cost savings opportunities. In addition to offering a more cost effective solution, MVSP has brought in a wide variety of advantages to the customer, like projection of potential savings opportunities, enhance discounts and discuss order pattern changes.
