The customer is a global leader in providing security, storage and systems management solutions. They provide software and services that help consumers and organizations, secure and manage information systems.

The customer supplied their anti-virus program on an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) basis along with the laptops and personal computers of major manufacturers. After an initial free trial period, buyers have to sign-up for the paid version; but this conversion rate was only 1%.

However, the business users could not perform data discovery to identify patterns and trends across markets and regions which would help them launch promotions/ campaigns that will improve conversion. Daily sales performance MIS reports of top 10 markets across regions as well as daily sales analysis dashboards were not available to the business users. The existing BI platforms did not meet business user requirements for timely insights and better usability.
