
Jeffrey Nuckols has recently joined HCL as Vice President of BFSI BPO for HCL Americas, where he will lead HCL’s business development and sales activities for Financial Services BPO.
Prior to Joining HCL, Mr. Nuckols was the Global Strategy Leader of IBM’s Financial Services Sector (FSS) business process outsourcing division and a member of the senior executive team for this IBM division. Mr. Nuckols’ responsibilities at IBM included business development and deal team leadership on large, complex BPO transactions in the financial services sector as well as responsibility for strategic initiatives for IBM’s business process outsourcing portfolio for its clients in the mortgage, retail banking, and insurance sectors.
During his tenure with IBM’s BPO business, Mr. Nuckols provided leadership on BPO transactions exceeding $1.5B in total contract value. Mr. Nuckols’ accomplishments at IBM also included leadership of two successful BPO-related acquisitions and the creation of a joint venture with a large banking client in Brazil. Mr. Nuckols was also instrumental in the formation and growth of IBM Seterus, a specialty mortgage servicing company that is ranked by Fannie Mae as one of the top mortgage servicers in the U.S. market.
Mr. Nuckols’ background includes 20+ years’ experience in the financial services industry across multiple sectors including mortgage, retail and commercial banking, cards and payments, and capital markets.
In 2011, Mr. Nuckols was a recipient of the Gerstner Award for Client Excellence, IBM's most prestigious internal award.
Prior to his role in IBM’s financial services BPO organization, Mr. Nuckols was strategy consultant with PwC and several boutique strategy consulting firms.
Mr. Nuckols’ education includes an undergraduate degree from Washington & Lee University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. Mr. Nuckols is married, has two children, and lives near Tampa, FL.
