Security framework for connected devices

With the advent of IoT and connected devices, security is becoming more and more important for embedded system designer. There is an urgent need for a security framework that addresses major security goals of embedded devices. Embedding security in an embedded device need to be considered throughout the product life cycle & also at every layer of the product. Security has to be an exercise built into the product development process instead of adding as an add-on feature.
