This research analysis paper is particularly targered at the mechanical engineer who works with the Flow control division and need idea in design and optimization of the Control valves.In case of quickly analysis, 1D calculations are the best way to find out. But it is more tedious and need more hand work. To easy out these 1D hand calculations, a tool has been developed using vb.net. This tool has been designed in such a way that it can handle different control valves (Butterfly, Ball, Poppet, Solenoid) and compressible or incompressible Flows. This tool greatly reduced the Product design cycle time.
