This paper recommends the utilization of probabilistic distribution model to overcome the drawbacks of applying Miner’s rule to estimate the fatigue life of the aircraft structure component. Probabilistic models such as Weibull distribution model is best suited to get more accurate results as compared to the general prediction methods which are in practice.
